LEXEMUL P MB

Lexemul P MB is a self-emulsifying propylene glycol monostearate designed for use when low viscosity anionic emulsions are desired. The self-emulsifying properties of Lexemul P MB can eliminate the need for auxiliary emulsifiers in many formulations. Lexemul P MB does not contain animal derived raw materials. Principal uses: As a primary emulsifier, Lexemul P MB produces lotions and light creams of excellent stability with a rich, soft texture. Stable o/w emulsions can be formed with Lexemul P MB by combining all ingredients, heating to 65 - 70C then cooling with slow agitation. Lexemul P MB is compatible with lower melting Lexemul T. Combinations of the two may be employed to produce variations in the texture and consistency of finished products. Lexemul P MB is not recommended for use in combination with cationic materials, nor in products containing acids or chelating agents.
