BAYHYDROL UH 650

BAYHYDROL UH 650 is an aliphatic polyurethane resin dispersion in water that acts as a binder for waterborne, air- and oven-drying base coats in two-coat systems. BAYHYDROL UH 650 provides good adhesion properties when used in two-layer systems with two-component polyurethane clearcoats for metallic basecoats formulated with it. The metallic basecoat can be oversprayed with a two-component polyurethane clearcoat after predrying, providing benefits like good water resistance and overcoatability for the end product. BAYHYDROL UH 650 is also compatible with water-thinnable polyesters and some acrylic dispersions, allowing formulation flexibility for various coating applications.
