BAYHYDROL UV 2317/1

BAYHYDROL UV 2317/1 is a urethane acrylate dispersion used in physically drying aqueous UV-curing coatings. It provides good reemulsification properties and high wet film transparency. BAYHYDROL UV 2317/1 does not contain intentionally added organotin compounds and has a non-volatile content of 35.5-37.5%. It is suitable for applications requiring clear lacquers and can be thinned with water. The dispersion has very good compatibility with many other dispersions used in UV-curing formulations. Coatings made using BAYHYDROL UV 2317/1 dry physically and can be sanded before curing under UV light. This allows for applications where a smooth finish is required before the final curing step. The cured coatings also provide very good mechanical and chemical resistance suitable for demanding exterior uses.
