Evonik RESOMER® FAQ
Which processing methods are suitable for this material?
RESOMER® grades are easy to process with standard extrusion, injection moulding, 3D printing and electrospinning technology.
Can RESOMER® products address specific needs for customised implant devices?
Customisation can be achieved in the RESOMER® Select series by tuning on product features like monomers, monomer ratios, polymer architecture, end groups and inherent viscosity. The products are even further customisable with regard to their form, like granules, powders, and filaments.
How are the high-quality standards and the supply security of RESOMER® ensured?
Evonik operates two state-of-the-art GMP-certified production sites in the US and Germany. Both facilities are ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified and fully compliant with IPEC-GMP Good Manufacturing Practices.
A comprehensive inventory is maintained with multiple options for dual sourcing or backup supply. Additionally, a wide array of services, including biocompatibility evaluations, master files, technical dossiers, quality services, and regulatory support as required, can be provided.
