AQUAMAT 263
AQUAMAT 263 is a matting wax dispersion based on oxidized HDPE for aqueous coatings, printing inks and overprint coatings. AQUAMAT 263 improves surface properties such as abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, resistance to black heel marking, anti-blocking and soft feel effect. The additive has a matting effect. AQUAMAT 263 is recommended for use in coatings and printing inks at recommended levels of 3-6% additive as supplied based upon total formation. It provides benefits such as improved abrasion resistance of printing inks and in aqueous coatings it improves scratch resistance which are highly desirable properties for advanced material coatings and components manufacturing.
