BYK-392

BYK-392 is a surface additive on polyacrylate basis for solvent-borne baking systems. It is suitable for roller application, conventional spraying application, and airless/airmix applications. BYK-392 promotes leveling, has a spontaneous defoaming effect and is effective for very short baking times. It improves leveling and increases gloss in solvent-borne baking systems. BYK-392 is particularly effective in airless/airmix systems used in industrial coating processes. Thanks to its non-polar structure, BYK-392 also features excellent degassing and defoaming properties. It only leads to a minimal reduction in surface tension. BYK-392 is recommended for use at 0.1-1% in solvent-borne industrial coating formulations to provide benefits like spontaneous defoaming and being effective for very short curing times required in high throughput industrial coating lines.
