BYK-1719

BYK 1719 is a VOC-free silicone defoamer additive that provides spontaneous defoaming effect and high efficiency. As a 100% active substance blend of foam-destroying polysiloxanes and hydrophobic solids, BYK 1719 delivers excellent defoaming performance even at low dosages. It contains no glycols and has good shelf life. BYK 1719 is recommended for aqueous formulations where it efficiently controls foam without causing cratering. Its high shear mixing helps ensure uniform dispersion and avoid defects in coatings. BYK 1719 supports smooth and uniform application of topcoats and sealants by eliminating bubbles and froth.
