BYK-394

BYK 394 is a polyacrylate-based surface additive that improves leveling and enhances release properties. It contains primary OH groups which react with binders to produce outstanding results. BYK 394 orients itself to the surface and is fixed in the surface via its reactive groups, reacting with the polymer matrix. This provides benefits like improved leveling, enhanced gloss and prevention of imperfections during the process. BYK 394 has no impact on properties and is thermally stable. It is recommended for use with solvent-borne and solvent-free systems where it enhances the performance qualities and end product.
